How to make ready made curtains look custom made

Hi all

I have been meaning to write a blog about this subject, so here it is.

Out of these two pictures which one looks ready made and which one custom made ?

They both look very similar don't they, the custom made curtain is the right picture.

As you can see there is not much difference in the look.

How did I achieve this?

It's all in the details.

I used the same custom track for both the windows, I ironed the ready made curtains

and trained them in the same way I would a custom made, I altered the length of the sheer

curtains to fit within the window recess.

Put in a little extra effort and you also can have curtains that look custom made :)
